Job Summary:
Secur0d Solutions is seeking a professional, reliable Armed Security Officer to provide on-site protection for clients, assets, and personnel. This position requires active presence, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to safety. Candidates must be licensed and meet all requirements under Florida state law to carry a firearm in a security role.

Key Responsibilities:​

• Maintain a visible, armed presence to deter threats and unauthorized activity

• Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems as assigned

• Conduct routine patrols of the premises (foot or vehicle)

• Verify identification and manage access control procedures

• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or emergencies

• Complete detailed reports and log activities or incidents during shifts

• Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, and team members

• Enforce site-specific policies while upholding client expectations and safety standards

Minimum Requirements:​

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Valid Florida Class D Security License (Unarmed Security Officer)

• Valid Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License (Armed Security Officer)

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Physically capable of standing, walking, and responding quickly as needed

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Reliable transportation and flexible availability (days/nights/weekends)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military, law enforcement, or private security experience

• CPR/First Aid Certification

• Experience with access control and incident reporting systems

• Conflict resolution or de-escalation training

• College education
